Policy
It is ESM's aim to offer products with specified quality to its
customers according to the need of the market. The focus of the management is to fulfil
contractual agreements with our customer to the fullest satisfaction, technically,
economy-wise and delivery-wise.
Quality and quality management are not only the main task of the
company’s strategy but also the commitments of all co-workers of ESM.
Accordingly, the responsibility and quality consciousness is promoted.
As a basic principle the quality management is aimed at fault prevention
and continuous improvement. The responsibilities and processes for all quality influencing
activities are regulated and the effectiveness of the measures are monitored.
Quality Management System since Decades
- Quality assurance approval according the highest Military Standard AQAP-
1 for many years until 1995
- Approval of Quality Management System according DIN EN ISO 9001 since
1995 replaced AQAP 1)
- Approval of Quality Management System according to KTA 1401 (German
Regulatory Guide for Nuclear Power Plants) for many years.
This KTA approval is designed among others especially for the production of Monitoring
Systems for Radioactivity.
Most of our products are additionally qualified
 - Declaration of EMC and EEC Conformity.
All standard instruments of ESM comply with the requirements of the EMC Act of Nov. 9,
1992 and the EEC Guide 89/336 (CE).
- PTB-Type approval for official calibration.
