| Samples with a diameter of up to 60 mm and a maximum height
of 8 mm can be checked for alpha- beta contaminations with high sensitivity by the
built-in gas flow proportional detector. Alpha and beta radiation is measured
separately but simultaneously. Influence of external gamma radiation background is reduced
with a 15 mm lead shielding and a guard detector switched in anticoincidence to
measuring detector.
The Digital Ratemeter FHT 1100 calculates the results of a measurement, started by
insertion of the sample slide, automatically.
With only 6 'soft keys' the user has full access to a comprehensive set of functions and
adjustment.
