FHT 3031 CCM Contamination Monitor

back
back
Large quantities of material have to be checked for possible contamination during the refurbishing or dismantling process of elder NPPs before they can be released as ordinary scrap or waste. In many cases Cobalt 60 will be the dominant part of the nuclide vector.

Using the CCM (Cobalt Coincidence Method) technique such contaminations can be determined fast and reliably with FHT 3031.

  • Sensitive and spatially focused measurement of Co-60 contaminations on large samples even in presence of fluctuating external Co-60 radiation fields
  • No lead shielding necessary  -- easy installation
  • High and steady sample throughput with roll and belt conveyors
  • Samples are moved on big trays
  • Maximum load up to 400 kg/m2
  • Measuring range 100 ... 100.000 Bq
